i think what it is about skateboarding, for most of the people who "used to skate" and making an acception to the people that have got injured and cant skate, is that you gotta work for your tricks. you really do, you have to be into the culture of skating, now a days kids get into it cuz they think there is this "skater look", which is skinny jeans flashy t shirts, rimmed glasses with the lenses popped out, and some dcs or etnies and when they finally obtain that look that means they are a "skater" so they get a board and try to skate, there is no such thing as the "skater look". like seriously what the fuck is that? i don't recall ever seeing any "scene kid" or "emo" pro skaters, besides corey duffell he's ridin the border but hes a hesher so he doesn't count. skateboarding isn't about the tricks, it isn't about what you wear, it isn't about everybody else thinking your cool cuz you skate. it's about at the end of the day, you felt like you accomplished something riding your skateboard. you feel this good vibe mentally and physically when your skating. i guess it goes back to graffiti, it doesn't matter what you look like, what you dress like, if people actually know you. its about the artwork that you put out there, and how that artwork makes you feel when you do it and see the final outcome. but enough with all of this those are my words for the day. dozer one p.a.f. a.o.k.
