null vote---i hate macs(bad experiences with them and i dont like how they are set up, never used linux(but heard its good), have windows(but it freezes on me alot, but i like how it's set up), and i dont know of an other systems....

I use a mac. Actually macs are the least prone to have virus'. It's just what I'm used to because they are better for graphic art.

BAHAHAHHAA viruses are the biggest problem with windows. cant stand it.

macs are reliable for many many things.
i certainly have less crashes than on windows, and things tend to run more smoothly.



linux is slammin if you know how to use it. it's secure if you know how to use it too.

Ok Macs are only useful for music/video editing, or atleast so I see it. Windows is like the equivelant to krylon. People use it, but thats because they dont know better. I prefer linux, I like it the most. I've been using it now for like 4 or 5 years. I do have a couple of machines running windows, but if I use em I run knoppix(a version of linux you run off a cd) on em.

really it depends what your using each for..

linux for relaiblilty, server, etc, not so good if your just a home user since you need to configure quite a lot and learn unix commands, if you are a home user and need windows apps there is always wine.

Macs for design and shit, such as movie production, art, website design, etc..

windows for a normal user, a gamer etc..but windows sucks ass for reliability, trojans, viruses but the general public will take it because they know and trust it..which is stupid

in my opinion Linux is king, but it does depend on what your planning to do with your computer so I'm not going to vote.

I use windows, but i would use linux, just my modem don't work with it, not sure if it is a winmoden since it comes up in ther perpriahals list as installed correctly and working fine.

Also, peolpe have this weird idea that hacking from a linux machine is the best way, not so, lot of hackers use linux yes, but only because it is the most reliable os, and it is free.
