Theres alot of arguments of whether graffiti is art or not. But after reading around i found out that their answers change because of there views on what "art" really is. All in all there will always be a contradicting argument agaisnt each opinions but hey, whoever has the most wins yeah? Please read before you start. 1.just because its drawn on a paper with scribbles doesnt mean its art. 2. thiers no RULE that says art is drawn with a canvas and blahblah. keep in mind of photographic art, scuplture art, so please dont get biased. hopefully after we learn what "art" really is. then you can answer if graffiti is art. for now. its just the persons own opinion and views to see whether graffiti is art or not. my opinion? depends on the guy whos doing it. i cant say one thing without contradicting myself by saying another.
art is more like the relation between the piece and the viewer.. art is happening between two objects, its not existing on its own.. art is the potentially most rationnal emotion..
art is whatever you want it to be. it's in the eye of the beholder. therefore you are never going to get a real definition of "art". this thread is pointless.
Graffiti is art when people are walking down the street and come across a character or piece that is really eye catching or appealing to them and they stop, and take a few moments out of their busy schedule to admire it. Vandalism is shitty gang signs or pieces that the person didn't even try to make look good, that destroys property and or make people feel or think negative things when they see it. In my opinion, it depends on what the graffiti piece looks like. If it makes you admire it and pause to get a second good look at it, then I definitely consider it art. If its an attempt to destroy property, to mark gang territory, or it looks like the person didn't even try to make it look nice, then I don't think it's art at all.
art is what ever you want to make it. what ever way you see it it can be art as long as it means something to you

It's subjective. Some graffiti is artistic, some is not. It's not black and white like 90% of you fucktards seem to think it is.
Art is what you create out of necessity, or what you do to express yourself. Anything you make or create with the pure intention of self-gratification, if you're proud of it, and don't give a fuck about haters, that's art. Everyone is an artist. yea.
