i like the whole concept, but you need fix the structure of the piece as a whole. for example, the A's structure is hurting bad... it's twisted in a very uncomfortable position, the U bearly has a presence.

dude, before anything, try to get your lines to come out cleaner.
you got that parkinson's hand lol, BUT, i do too.
i find it easier to keep a loose hand though, and draw my lines faster y'know, like flick my pencil to get lines looking crisp.
this combats the shakiness i get when sketching. try it.
like i had a king smack my book once, and he did his piece SO fast, lines came out ruler straight. fucker freestyled what i was writing at the time too.

The first one, the 3D is inconsistent. Not sure if that E should be as large as it is. The letters need work, pretty much. The second one.. throw that out. No disrespect, but.. you're right it is hard to read. But, not because of the colors. Because of the letters.
Last one.. is my pick of the three, to be honest.
