id say get away from those excessively connected letters. go simpler, uniform , dont squash your letters that much give em room. i extremely hate those thin parts.

They don't even look like letters. The only letter that's even remotely readable is the S.

the thing that seems to lack the most in my opinion are some of your bars
the e seems to get a little too squished and skinny
and same with the s
you dont have to crunch your letters to get rid of negative space
thats what extensions are for
if you gave it some better structure but kept your style i think you'll end up light years past other people

now you just have to be comfortable with it you know

the ap is good, the es is a bit too much i think. just keep working on it and it will get a lot better, some people just dont like it because its different, some people want everybody to do simples forever and never do something like that. if you keep pushing yourself and doing something different it will definately get way better
