Yeah. I've realized. All of my sketches are a lot better before I color them. I'm going to stop uploading the colored ones. Only sketches. They are always more clean and shit.
to add to the reasons why you should do simp straights, is it looks like your trying waaay to complicated letters for your current skill set. The ideas may be there in your head, but you cant execute them properly. Its sad to say that that lower case t up there is the best letter structurally only because it has the most consistant bar widths...
Now im not trying to take anything away from you being satisfied with that drawing, it definetly looks better than the last one....

As you said. I do need to do some more simple straights. I just fucking hate them. Been doing them for so fucking long. I realize I do need to do them. As these last few I have done are just straight bad. I'm going to do some more simple straights. But it's like... I have more ideas when it's a more complicated piece. When I do a simple straight. I feel all bluhhh and I'm not really motivated. I'll do some more simps.

straight up or down, dont angle it yet,
^ Easiest imo. Is straight down. You can also go left or right. But I think it's a bit tougher to do it horizontally.
so dont do the sides? just the bottoms of the letters
