the way i learned 3d was from art class where they said picture a light being shown from a direction anywhere on the paper, and draw where the shadow would form, so on yours it looks as if the light is coming from in between the bottom right and the middle of the bottom. so the bottom car on the C would have to have a 3d shadow leaning to the middle/top left.
also my advice bring the top bar on that C out just a bit more to the right, it looks like an L almost.

Screwed up piece outline, filled it with black, screwed up outline once more and did it fatcap style :/
