What REALLY looks wrong about the M is just that he didn't come down with the 3D on the middle of the M like he did with the rest of the parts so it looks rounded instead of squared and the 3D is also off because of it. Or he could have just defined the edge around the squared parts of the M with the black border he did with the rest of it where its not dripping. The rest of it looks awesome though.

maybe with your M instead of having it going slighting inwards from the start, have it first going outward like an obtuse angle a little bit then bend in slightly, i dono though i find M's tough as well, good luck with it man lol
