Throwie yeh i accidentally did my n backwards rookie mistake.

For the throwie oultine, don't go over your lines so many times. From one toy to another, it's too soon to be working on pieces like that man. Work on your throwie letters, I'm not going to tell you not to use paint, because people on here that say that are dumbfucks, but do sketch your bubble letters out when you're not painting and work on can control. I assume you've been painting for like a month maybe? Just take it slow man, props on the attempted piece, I have seen worse but just take your time. A tag turns into a throwie, a throwie into a piece, and a piece into a burner. That will happen over a long period of time, don't fret it and keep at it.

Also, those may or may not be rusto cans, it looks cheaper but, just a tip; When you start to get better, order some 'cap adapters.' They will help out a lot. But only do so after you've been painting for a bit longer and get better.

kinda disregard what tophaa said its never too soon to work on pieces. You should make sketches of them, dont paint them right away. And when people say hit the books on here, they are actually right; they arent being "dumbfucks". You need to practice practice practice practice. Trust me it helps alot. Now i am not saying dont practice with paint. Go to home depo or wallmart and get the dollar cans of paint. Im pretty sure everyone has used them to practice their can control and to test out new pieces and throwies. Dont waste money on rusto at this point unless you have something solid down. Your piece isnt that bad for a first try, you just need to make some of the letters more structured; The K doesnt look like a K at all. Mess around with that on paper still though it has potential. And for your throwie thats how my first throwies came out. Its also not bad for a first but clean it up a bit, u shouldnt have overlaps in the outline. Just because its not that bad, that doesnt mean dont work on it; always try to improve your shit with new styles

I agree with you Mido, That's basically what I was saying man. When i first starting posting on here a few months back, people told me to stop painting. I completely disregarded what they said, but I did take their crits and sketched everyday, and I have progressed drastically. I think it is kind of ridiculous that some people can draw an insanely complex wildstyle piece, but they have never painted. Props for those people knowing complexities, but drawing establishes a necessary foundation in which you should paint upon. I feel like you should draw and paint together, not just one or the other. Mido, I know that you can't say that you have never seen a perhaps more talented writer telling new writers to "quit" or to "not use paint." Dank, my first throwies looked about like that a few months back, realize that in 2-3 months, you will be laughing at your first pieces. When you notice the advancement, it is very rewarding and motivating.
