the main caps i use are rustos, greys,blues, orange dots and GOs. i hardly ever use pinks cause they just use up a lot of paint. silvers and astros basicly do the same as orange dots but are heavier. everyones got preferences.

i&#39;ve got a bit of a problem here. i always painted with stock tips, but after a while i just got frustrated with how un-skinny they were for outlines and detail. the next time i had to get paint, i told my messenger to ask for outliner caps, which ive had minor experience with before.

i got a handful of grey caps with black dots, similar in looks to the stock cap you get with a can of montana black, but the body of the cap is a lighter grey than stock. what are these lighter ones called? they dont got grey dots, just the body of the cap is light grey and its got a black dot. i tried them out and i was still getting a shitty fat-ish line. i know its not a case of "stfu toy your painting wrong" because to get a decent skinny line, you have to be spraying so close that the can scrapes the wall and it&#39;s mad fast action, faster than possible.

what am i doing wrong? what should i be buying? i first thought it was a pressure issue, but even at the end of the can they were still spraying almost as wide as stock montana black caps.

any decent help?

sounds like a german outline, if you can&#39;t get a moderate outline with them then you&#39;re just a toy or a fuckin invalid. regardless, go for the grey dots or other thin caps (try looking at bombing science&#39;s shop, they describe what each cap does).
