Homer, Rewt is right for the most part, except on the R. Once you thicken the outline, that R will definitely look like an R. and the fact that extensions are used for filling in dead space. Although in your case, yours almost fill in where a letter bar should be going. Have your flow with just the letters first, then go back and add your extensions.

Esoe dont tilt your "E" so much it could be confused for an M and fix the drop shadow on the bottom you have it coming from two different directions other than that your doing good.
