Why I don't ask for "a shirt design" is because that's muchh too vague. I realize that some people are better with handies than with tags/throwies/bombs and vice versa. So I can get more of a variety of any one style instead of a grab bag of random shit, ya know?

I'll probably have more contests in the future, I just want to finish this one, and get the prizes out/my track record started before anything.

If I make a bunch of money for my clothing label, of course I'm gonna throw the artists a bone. I can't give a percent, all the money goes right back into the project as of now. I'm no artist, I'm a graphic designer and an entrepreneur. I practice drawing, but nothing I draw is shirt worthy, yet.



for real man, people do battles all day for nothing but pride. This is the ultimate way of "getting up". If being an artist is what you want to do, this would be good on a resume/portfolio.

Yeah, only because it cost 20$ to set up a screen for printing, and then there's a charge to print per shirt, and then the charge for the actual shirts. Bulk is much cheaper, so I'd rather do one big run than three small ones. And I figured the runners up aren't going to want to wear the winning design lol. Correct me if I'm wrong.

so you're not offering these guys anything? that's bullshit through and through. why should anybody be "thankful just to be on the front of your t-shirt"? you're a teenager with no talent trying to capitalize on this subculture, and you don't even have the balls to front the winner whose design you're going to use over and over again, to make money, any compensation. i would ban this battle and you if i could.
