ugh. it seems like the only person in this thread that had decent taste was on the first page. props to bullshittantrum. you have good taste. and wow you actually knew what genre it belonged in. hats off to you
Ha, Not the only person. I know my shit, and take pride in that.
No More Weekly Toy Battles.
what kind of music you get down with
hahaha, what do you guys think about minor threat?
fuck minor threat. no offense
jw. why?
i grew up on punk rock so ill contrubute a bit to the thread of some of the bands i used to listen to.
anti flag: before chris barker joined the band and ruined it. so everthing pre a new kind of army was good. they were so awesome back in 98 esp being from pittsburgh they had the best local shows around here.
the unseen: although the albums following so this is freedom kinda sucked
the virus, lower class brats, cock sparrer, gbh, a global threat, subhumans, the ducky boys, the business, the varukers, the decendents, operation ivy, rancid, oxymoron, the exploited, abrasive wheels, blitz, the casualties, also pre turning lame, anti nowhere league, the clash, sex pistols, aus rotten, the adicts, black flag, the pist, blanks 77, antidote, distraught, the jinx, charge 69, the list goes on and on. i loved street punk
PITTSBURGH TRAIN HEADS HIT ME UP
haha street punk, aye? Not my thing.. there are rare occasions where I like it. Like Vice Squad and Narcoleptic Youth KILL at shows. And Reagan Youth were fucking amazing live. haha. The Voids did good too. Jerry's Kids are good. Oh, and Meka, I'm a few pages back, if not on the last page. ha. and I actually don't really like Minor Threat.. there are a few songs that I like, but for the most part, not my thing.
EDIT: It's on page 43.. haha. I just realized how much space that post took up.

Ditto.
I listen to lots of punk, and enjoy almost every subgenre.
I live in one of the 5 punk houses in my city.
The amount of music in this house is unreal, and I don't understand the point of coming to a thread to list the same bands over and over again.
The punks all know what's good, and the non-punks will call all of them fags.
Stop listing bands and start sharing links to download shit.
Stories or pictures are good too.
.
Don't hate on me for thinking it would be nice to make something of this thread.
i was raised on punk rock and hardcore, so of course i got my respect to the classics like The Clash, Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, Ramones, etc. some of my favorites though are
The Exploited
The Casualties
The Unseen
Rancid
The Code(pittsburgh/erie punk, good ass band, shame that they're gone).
And im a huge fan of the ska punk shit Leftover Crack, Coking Victim, Morning GLory,Big D and the Kids Table, Suicide MAchines, Streetlight Manifesto, Etc.
Hardcore punk too, always down for that. The Roots of Hardcore music like Cro-Mags, JUDGE, Gorilla Buisiuts, etc.
NOW, for some Media sharing goodness!

PITTSBURGH TRAIN HEADS HIT ME UP
For you Folk-Punk fans:
The Best summer ever
a small portion of the people who attended
Defiance, Ohio
Kids were literally hanging from the rafters during their set (not pictured)
Ghost Mice
Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains
Rosa (last performance)
Ryan Harvey
So many bands, so many people
everyone was awesome, and everyone smelled by the end of the week
the sense of community was unreal
i'd rather live joyously in a commune with a bunch of dirty "hippie" folk-punks than slave unhappily in your clean PC world of souless automatons

ive actually met johnny hobo. guys a dick and a punk. fuckers never been near a train in his life yet he fronts like he gets down. his music aint bad hes just a fucker.
just because his band was named Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, doesn't mean he's Alexander Supertramp
His songs were also about doing loads of drugs and meeting God and Satan, does that mean he did?
The only person fronting is you meka, acting cool "i actually met johnny hobo" and then dissing him with unsubstantiated insults
how do you think i got those pictures? i spent an entire week with the guy, and had long conversations with him
