anything before the eminem show album is decent. the way he sounds on most of the tracks on the new cd pisses me the fuck off.

The Marshall Mathers LP was his best, in my opinion. I don't like the way he raps in Relapse, though. His raps and lyrics are okay. On the topic of saying rappers, I like Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Run-D.M.C., Public Enemy, MF Doom, etc.
the trck beutyfull on the new album is pretty good imo and yes i love immortal techinque and jedi mind tricks. i dont care about all this real hip hop bullshit i like to listen to music that sounds good to me no matter waht genre or whos performing

I agree. Soulja Boy has some of the stupidest and most mindless songs I've ever heard (for example, that Swag song). He's just catchy, and most normal people prefer catchy to talent I guess. And Lil Wayne I can stand even less of.
in my opinion, eminem's albums suck. he's the shit at battling though and he has some dope verses on dr. dre's "2001" but that's about it. but i respect him because he's a good mc and he's fucking unique. i prefer underground hip hop though
how can you compare lil wayne, soulja boy and eminem. at least eminem has some sort of talent and doesn't sound like a retarded baby. i admit his music hasent seen much of an improvement since his early stuff but still you have to give credit to the one rapper that pretty much pissed off more people than any other musician alive.

mac dre released an entire album over the prison phones at th pen in fresno, you have to respect that. some of that shit was stupid but the bay put a lot of great beats on the map.
