I was charged with mischief under $5000.00 last night. Although I am fairly certain that the charge isn't particularily serious, I was wondering how easy it would be for a court-appointed lawyer to get me out of having a criminal record. I know of two people who got out of getting one and only had to do 25 hours of community service, but they hired a lawyer and paid around $500. Since I don't have that kind of money, I am looking for some writer's legal advice.

Not trying to be annoying, but any help would be vastly appreciated. Some of you had to have been fucked over in the same way.

ive gotten arrestd 3times, i say stick with the court appointed lawyer, theyve gotten me out of 2 things and reduced the sentance on one, it was a 3rd degree felony , and it got reduced to a class C misdimor and served 6montsh probation and 20hrs of community service.

what was yer charge, misdiminor or felony?

what do you say when a truckload of lawyers drives off a cliff?
    a miracle.

i think its worth it to pay the 500, even if you dont got it, to pay for a lawyer. its worth losing 500 for not having a criminal record.

"To pay off my criminal fines."

tony got charged on feline molestation
turns out he likes more then one kind of pussy

@Waster, that's why you have so many fines, you depend on L'aide Juridique (thats what legal aid is) they're a bunch of fuck up's that dont even care bout your situation!

When i got charged with assault, i didnt even bother going to get a lawyer, i showed up to court, represented myself
    got off with 1yr probation

like i said before and i ll say it again
we were given MOUTH'S, they are intended to be used!
    USE THE FUCKIN THINGS

dont depend on some fuckin lawyer!

    R-E-P-R-E-S-E-N-T YOURSELF

doesnt take a fuckin rocket scientist to know that
