for piecing i stick to gold dots, german outlines, anything thin cause it's sort of sketch to use a fat cap for a piece. unless you want quick fills.

Yeah, orange dots work great when I'm piecing, well mainly for fill-ins since I stick to big ass letters when piecing. So orange dots are just fine.
Gold dots are way too thick for me.
