ironlak vs. montana?

Ironlak and Montana are completely different.

Ironlak is low pressure. Ironlak is awesome and easy to piece with, smells good, clean, good coverage.

Spanish Montana (the only Montana worth using, in my opinion), has both low pressure and high pressure paint. 94 is low, Hardcore is high. Good coverage, nice and thick, and an awesome set of colors. The reason we don't usually see Montana around here is because it's expensive.

We're all Kilz and Rusto.

I'd take a free box of Hardcore before a free box of Ironlak any day though.

Ironlak is the shit!
I usually use tremclad (Canadian Rusto) for my fill and use the Ironlak for details, outlines and highlights. I love the white and black. The smell is a little weird, but once I have my mask on it don't really matter anyways. The way I see it, it's less likely some hero is gonna walk by and smell 'spray paint', instead its just some weird smell they don't recognize.
I have used the caps they come with without problems (as long as you shake the shit outta it for about 5 minutes), as well as grey and orange dots.

IRONLAK is hella better, it has more coverage and it's cheap as hell. Montana is good but it costs so damn much for a couple of cans.

You gotta shake that shit up real good. I shake my cans for a good 3-4 minutes and still usually get a second or two of silly string at the beginning. Sucks when it plugs your cap! After that, it's all good tho.

ironlak is way better. yes montana has more colors but ironlak goes on clean and bright the first coat. no second coats needed. as far as the sill string is concerned, that is supposed to happen. its one of the chemicals that keeps the ppaint inside nice and fresh
