Mes- Sorry the actual throwie looks like shit but the shading goes a little like this.

Just try to spread it out equally. Since it looked like you were trying a drop shadow the best advice I can give you is to draw your throwie a little over and down from where your throwie is and shade it.

Thanks for the diagram black flag! A little simpler than my explanation.
And Mes just do exactly what that diagram does. Draw Mes then a litle over and down draw Mes again. Make the top layer solid and make the bottom one shaded.
Sorry I'm kinda bad at verbal explanations. Just keep workin it man you'll get it in time.
