whats with the graph paper? does it help you keep things proportioned? I'm having trouble keeping things really even like that...
try workin with bars first. there's a thread around here somewhere on them basically will teach you basic keyboard letters, and how to make letters an even size. practice practice practce hope it helps.

nurseofgonzo again these are a year and a half old. i used it because i didnt feel like using lined paper. this is what im at now and only one light source is acceptable
do you mind if I copy your s for a bit? lol..I have been having problems working out depth on s's and the back of c's...getting the black to fade "under" the letter smoothly seems to be really damn hard..
