Just had a play on a Leica M9 at a gear show. I want one. Somehow feels cheaper in the hands then my MP... but then again it's not made of brass and it's not at all mechanical. On another note, http://cgi.ebay.com/Business-Leica-...ccessories&hash=item35ae4f4ba3#ht_6335wt_1141 Leica M9 Titanium. US $99,999.99
Yep. Leica's lame for doing shit like that. Instead of putting millions into the M9 titanium why not make the m9 a couple of thousand cheaper?
so I go the post office today and there's a delivery notice in my box. I give it to the lady and she hands me a piece of paper from latvia saying my lens never made it out of customs. What the hell?!?!?! it's not even in usa yet but they send me a piece of paper??>?> FUCK!
my rents are getting a slr for the fam and i think they'v gone for the cannon EOS 500D with a 18-55mm lense, i dont know much about photography but i wanna get into it, is that a good camera for begginers?

yo any suggestions for a camera? i'm droppin about a grand and im not quite sure on what to get.. not really feelin a canon rebel to much, so many peeps just buy em too. lookin at the leica c-lux 2 right now, since its compact i can take it around all over. not to sure though, want something thats a bit more manual D lux 4 is also a maybe
no offence, but you'd have a full blown retard to buy a leica point and shoot. They're great cameras, but just get the panasonic counterpart and you'll have the same camera and $300 in the bank.
^^Agreed. If you want a point and shoot you are going to give up manual options, usually. Point and shoot is more for traveling and leisure rather than photography. For that money you can good a great beginner DSLR kit.
