I guess this is a matter of personal prefrence, but I've found with alcoholic tinctures the longer you leave the greens in, the more your drink is going to taste like plant. I personally wouldn't leave the weed in there for more than two weeks. Its been awhile since I've had any green rum, should make some up for next weekend.
