that reminds me more of a simp type thing rather then a throwie but i guess it works as a throwie too, who am i to say what is what lol i like that R, A could be abit smaller..maybe the bottom part of the E could be a bit bigger too, and like u said that Z needs work
id lose the points ontop of all ur letters, having a more suttle one on your Z would be good but not pointing vertical and same with having one on your A and or R but more suttle and not in the centre of ur letter pointing up, other then all those vertical points i think the throw looks alright, keep working with it
zebra: your character has more flow than that, i don't like it, but the lines are nice and the proportions work (on the charac, on your slaps). you should try to work your letters from the same kind of loose line work, however your hand naturally moves. also, bigger is better. try to think more about the arc of your arm if you were going to take it to a wall. i don't know if that helps.
@zebra: not surprisingly, i started with chars as well. a cat i knew helped encourage me towards letters.
i think both aspects r good to do..characters seem really fun and its dope when u can incorporate characters into ur letters like arose does, i wana work on character more...and letters lol cuz i suck dick at both
i like that S, work on those E's and maybe try to have the left top side of ur T showing just a little bit so it cant be mistaken for an R fuked up on the second M...also sorta missed the outline as u can see haha..crits would be cool i know i gotta work on drop shadows
the desr once are nice. the flow is fluent. Dont extend shadow over r's bottom. If you throw light from top right side, there cant be shadow on right side of r. Its like making another pattern of similar shapes, and you just tilt it a bit away from outlines. Ill give you an example. Here, light comes from top left, so shadow is on bottom right of the letters. Im pretty sure you'll master it soon. Hope this helps
