yah a few people add there name to stencils, usually of to the side with a seperate stencil, they rep and do so better than toyish tags

but for gods sake... dont ever start stenciling just your name all over the place....... ill personaly track you down, cut you open and spray it on your lung.........

the luchadore is still my favorite i think.

hey, what do you guys use for stencil material? if you have one near your go to your local best buy or circuit city and ask if they have any old cardboard movie posters. usually the employees will snatch them up, but it's worked wonders as stencils for me... it's easier to cut and a hell of a lot more durable than cardboard.

for me.. it's art. so stencil whatever inspires you.. i've done some stencils of words only. you dont have to use images only.

I like to use transparencies (clear plastic sheets they use on overhead projectors) Not only is it durable, but it can be rolled up without comprimising most of your details, provided you cut some relatively strong bridges.

Like on the black layer of one of my lifesizes:

I can roll bro up (he's taller than me...like 6' 4" or something) and not worry about bulky or fragile paper.

I mean, the writer psalm is an especially good example of this.

Although he's got some nice, intricate, hand-drawn images...her always works his name into the piece so it has a sense of prominence.

I think it's prefectly okay to stencil your name, but for the sake of everyone please have some thing else besides that. This kid named "fant" in my town went around spraying his stencil that just said his name (it was of horrible quality) and so many kids bombed ridiculous things after his name. You're sort of just asking for it.

psalm is sick, so is ha-ha, most of the melbourne scence gets props from me.

btw, I use manilla folders. haven't let me down yet.

acetate is where it's at though.

    text stencils are cool

things like "it's hammer time" in blue on a stop sign just lighten up my day.
or the occasional "shit..." or "fuck..." on someting broken, like a window.
i prefer funny text stencils, but memorial things are kind of cool sometimes.

and i almost always incorperate my name into stencils, i want the world to know that

    #1- I put it here
#2- Ill do what i want in life
#3- Im challenge the world, this is my expression, weres yours?
#4- and that im giving a voice to a location
    ;)

(no longer part of the qoute)
    rats:
find that idiot fant and paint his stencil on his forehead and push him in front of a bus
and i use that clear plastic stuff when i can, it is excellent material, and when thats out of reach ill just use paper, ill just only do that one once
