the thickness on the whole throwie or work it out a lot better with this kinda style cause it could be really dope
eh, started to start throwies about a week ago. i know they're not the best, any tips[for a beginner]?
antik - man dont try that pointy shit at the bottom of your letters it never works out ... I went through that phase as I was learning also. start with simple bubble letters keep the flow and style of each letter alike ....practice practice practice the more u slop down throws on paper the more different ideas you will get. Take bits and pieces from different letters you make and start to develop. None of this happens in days or weeks it took me 2 years to get decent(at just throws) so dont get discouraged just all depends on how much time and effort you put into it. pic for talking exchange with naked
peter, my crit is this: think differently. you're treating the throw like a piece. it's a very different approach. I'm sorry I'm not in the mood to elaborate too much, but I will tell you this: think fatter, bulkier, thicker letters... like obese fucking letters. the whole word is supposed to not have any space in it. it's suppposed to be like a big ol chunk of goo. like fat letters overlapping each other in a way that eliminates the space you usually have in a piece... the best advice I can give you is to just go look at pro tosses in the gallery and come back with a new understanding of how those bombers think. once you start getting how they think when they build their throws, you'll get it.
Man that monkey character is fucking dope, mind if I bite it for my blackbook? That rocket piece would be sick painted, just fix the L it's too small.
