Having a hard time figuring out this camera. it has controls for ASA and focusing. but it only gives me 4 pic of "zones" for focusing. so its not a real rangefinder but kinda is? haha this thing is weird. but i guess its the first compact 35mm to have a built in flash. i just wish i could use it better

Stuck on my next lens purchase....I dont feel the need to go full frame so im between the nikkor 17-55 2.8 and 24-70 2.8. I've read the 24-70 is sharper but its almost double the price. the 17-55 on a dx will get pretty much the same focal length as the 24-70 on an fx. any opinions? I have an 18-200 3.5-5.6 and 50 1.8 right now.
i wish the focus was on the dude in the jacket instead of the fruit in the second pic. i just went out shooting for the first time in awhile and was too scared to really get pictures of peoples face. so props on that. is that digital?
Obvious really. If you want a pro fast lens if you do a lot of low light stuff, the 17-55. Your 18-200 should be fine though! Do you really need the extra stop or two? You have a 50 1.8 which is way faster than the 17-55 so what do you need it for?
Yeah its digital, and i dont seem to be bothered about them knowing lol, the worst they can do is maybe give you an angry look, id rather have that than no photo .
