What are the biggest posters/wheat paste pieces mo' fuckahs have made?

 

dior- i see where your goin with the shroomish mario kinda guys. but i think they look kinda plain. add some detail or some things like accecories or somethin. just my thoughts though

So I think I might just do like 500 a4 photocopies of the diamond and my name in some dope letters and use that.
Has anyone else done pastes with photocopies? I remember reading that the ink will fuck up or something.

i went today and it sucked ass i put my paste in a jelly jar so it took foever to get it out and paint like a whole min so every time i started i got yelled at so i was like fuck this and went home without getting one up so im going to make a good thing to put it in any recomandations and more posters

 

Put it in a dish cleaner container or in a shampoo bottle.

Quickest discreet applicator for large (3x4 or so) posters is a 64 ounce fountain soda cup and a 4 finger width brush in a baggy in the pocket, Although I generally end up using my hands to spread cuzz it's quicker and more efficient. Just make sure to have a bottled water and a hand towel to clean up. I've got a great story about a poster mission and a bachelorette party that crossed paths and my hands looked like they were covered in whale skeet....
You really gotta be a paste batching master to get it thin enough to spray out a dish soap bottle without lump stoppage while keeping it thick enough to stay up for a good while.
And photcopies work great for pasting. I used to do all my shit as one offs with a projector... Some shit took days.. I went to photocopies and never looked back.

A lot of wheat pastes I see are black and white. Is there a reason for this? Does color run or some shit? The only pastes i've done were small anti-war flyers that had no color.

 

color costs more to print and takes longer to color

 

What is the best way to do pastes: Draw them shits up, or make some shit on the PC and print it?

Deor- You got a great idea and wit, but in those ruff drafts, there's too much negative space. I'd just do one big elf with a speech bubble and cut it out to the shape rather then several on a sheet with lots of empty space. I'd also rock the Deor on the elf's belt buckle or some shit like that..
The "I'm bringing sexy back is mad clever. I'd go with that. Doing the "Thug Life" after I JUST posted a rabbit with a "thug life" speech bubble is a little ballsy...
