fury is correct. names dont matter, would people rather see a sick name with horrible skill. or a lame name but with the sickest and freshest style.
task- theyre metal balls. I think they have a few in each too. And anon937, it's safe to say every 3, 4, 5 letter word is already taken, as well as most clever mis-spellings of them. Make something up, google it and check flickr and anything else you can think of. Even then, theres still a chance its taken, so you just have to try to be better.
if your name sucks, your name sucks. say, for example, you write cumstache-oner. if you have a dope style, then good for you, respect. but you still write cumstache-oner. and that's pretty fucking gay, bro.
Yo I need to learn how to do the fill where you add white to some parts to make it "bubbley" It's a fill that i just don't understand how people do it :/
u mean highlights??? the white really isnt part of the fill... its added after u do the fill, usually to the opposite side of ur 3d... just get ur sharpies or whatever and do a basic fill, then ull need a paint marker for the highlights to give ur letters more depth... heres an old one where the highlights make it pop off... the key is a decent white paint marker, and keeping the highlights in the right places
yeah zook, that's it. thanks man! another question. Is buying 97 cent cans and using them on a plywood board at my house best way to get can control down? i just used 2 metallic rustoleoms and 2 97 cent cans on a ply wood board. and it waw fun!
gnarr an extension is a part of the letter that isnt really needed to make the letter, think of keyboard letters... ill use another old piece of mine for an example lol i feel like a god damn tutor in here... all the dark green in this piece are extensions... the letters dont need them to be legible... also the W has 2 extensions on the top, and one to the lower left, the O R and E also have small extensions on the top too, basically if u take those extensions off, ull still have the basic letter... get it? toys (like me) are told not to use them because usually they put them in the wrong places and it looks stupid, in a nutshell......... but with time ull start to realize where u can put them so it looks... not stupid lol and yea exi 97cent colorplace is the best thing to get when ur starting out.... but id recommend getting a piece of drywall if u have the space for it... u can get a thin sheet for like $4, and itll hold up to a lot of paint before it starts building up and flaking off, then u can flip that bitch over and do it again, also its easier to just break down a piece of drywall and throw it out when it gets too shitty, ud haveta use a saw for plywood....... i wouldnt use rusto on drywall or plywood though, rusto is really thick paint, also dont use metallics, chrome silver gold etc... for the same reason... its better to just use the cheap thin soft shit for practice.... also a tip for using cheap shit cans, they usually drip a lot and the paint is really runny, if u flip the can upside down and spray it for about 1-2 minutes itll let some pressure out and make it easier to control and a bit thicker.... i still use dollar cans, i only get the good shit when i come up on some easy money
