It's pussy to protect my brain cells?

"I'm not a pussy cuz I inhale all sorts of noxious fumes. I'm cool!"

I don't understand why everyone's hating on this thread. I try to wear my respirator when I paint, but sometimes I do a throw on the go and don't have it with me...always fucks up my head. I get so tired from it, it sucks. The other day I got this weeeeird hard pressure into my chest from having breathed the fumes in. Not grand :(

i probly paint more then alot of you and i never where shit. i dont really notice the fumes unless it gets windy or im inbetween two trains. if i was indoors and i was doing something huge i'd use one, but i hate these you tube videos of poser ass skater kids rockin a two letter throw on there shed door with a resp on. wtf !

all this thread has come down to at this point is people who get high all day and huff paint who dont care, and ppl who enjoy being able to go out and bomb another day without having theyre lungs burst or turning into a veggie. were a resp or toast ur head, its pretty simple

unless you're holding your nose half a fucking foot from your paint (can or wall), you shouldn't even be affected that much from the fumes. in the world of biology, we have this thing called diffusion. when that happens (especially in an outdoor atmosphere), shit escapes from it's origin REAL quick and goes other place. and when you're outdoors, there's another thing called WIND. it carries those fumes to other places where it can diffuse even more.

moral: just keep a decent distance from your can and what you're painting and you'll be just fine. if you're doing a huge piece or with a bunch of others painting, a respirator is far from an awful idea.
