I got a question regarding that sanford higgins ink i got. What stuff should I add to it to make it more permanent, harder to buff, and all that fun stuff? I hear people adding dot 3 brake fluid, but I dont have a clue what that does.

then instead of wasting our time, waste your own, go to the ink thread and read read read. every ink question you could possibly have is answered there.

b/c im nice, ill tell u what brake fluid does, everything else, do ur own dirty word. brake fluid makes the ink dry slower, which causes it to sink in further, which makes it stain. only add 2-3 drops.

    from what i DID tryed:

flowpen ink, great opacity, a joke to buff, not even close to be fade proof

(the ink becomes driw and can be rubbed off the surface, so basically no penetration)

Grog ink, kindof like rubing alcohol in a way, its very ''watery'' but dont get me rong not watery the wrong way...

Opacity is great, i did not tryed without additives because it looket not very ''Tough'' so i dropped in few drops of brake fluid...

i tagged a painted metal door and when it got buffed, it wase on bare metal you could see the stained tag where ther was paint left, i wa sabsolutely delighted by that sight...

so to make a long story short:

regular ink (whatever kind you like)+a painted surface= the brake fluid ''soften'' the surface while the ink penetrate it so it leaves a nasty stain...

NOTHING is un buffable, the ky part is penetrating the surface with an ''abrasive'' agent like dot3 brake fluid, cod liver...

The whole lemon juice/piss thing is a total joke, the product have to ''penetrate'' the surface...

if you piss on a car will paint roll off? no...

if you pour dot3 brake fluid (dot4 doesnt make shit you can almost drink it)
the paint will bubble/drip off the car leaving it almost on bare metal!

why is almost everyone so obsessed with putting brake fluid in their inks...you are only supposed to put it into oil-based paint....

anything that looks good, alltime fav is black textus (leaves nice ghosts when buffed & is black, not blue / purple like most blacks) ...but well, you shouldn't care about how buff-proof something is, everything can and will be buffed is someone wants to, just bomb enough, if one is buffed, doesn't matter.

in helsinki we have zero-tolerance, everything is buffed, so you just have to bomb all the time to be seen.
