oh and ps who the fuck needs anything other than 35mm focal length. toys thats who. toys use zooms cos they are too scared to get close enough! swapping lens = missing the crucial moment. My brother and his family of 5 are dealing with this shit: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2011/02/christchurch_earthquake.html
how much these fugi's will be AK as ur closest to me that would know like how much will they be in NZ then i can find out pricing 2 australia
for an f2 lens you could be doing alot of work in low light, which manual focus could be very useful for and i think theyre gonna sell for like 1200 but i dunno what that means for nz/aus and that earthquake shit is crazy, i hope that all works out
Hey man, I understand that most people don't like america because of the wars and political strongarming, but it doesn't have anything to do with Christchurch having an earthquake. I know how you feel though, in 1994 my aunt and uncle lost their house in LA because of an earthquake, the had to move back here because they had nowhere to go. That's the same uncle that was in the pentagon when the plane hit. On another note, I've been using the 35mm more then anything lately. I haven't had a chance to develop anything from it, but it hasn't really come off the camera since I put it on.
kao.ali what settings have on with these shots? edit: and i agree with VA. to add to that, if theyre going with the whole full manual style, its stupid not to have MF. i do think they have MF focus though, searching DPReview...but that review was before the consumer model came out.
Channa - nah, it was in the bay area. zio - most of them were F2.8 1/250th and ISO 1000 that fuji is cool, but I dont have $1200 to drop on a P&S that looks like a rangefinder. I need more gigs.
Haha I thought you guys would have learnt to ignore me when I spert that bullshit. I come home pissed and write stupid shit sometimes. sorry...!
looks even better with the lens hood on! can't. fucking. wait. although I'm kinda worried I'm gonna end up using it more than my leica's... oh well [Broken External Image]:http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/7255/x100leftfronthood.jpg
nah dude, did you ever get that domke 803 you was talking about? I got one and stole your thunder, but it's the perfect size to hold my leica, (25iso), my electro 35 (1000iso), and a small digi, ccarry all three of them shits around mang

The lumix is so small that I can even stuff an extra lens in there. What it will not fit is a gripped slr, but it'll fit a non-gripped one.
This is the biggest bag I have... and I've configured it like this guy has. Works really bloody well.
You can put your weed, i mean lenses in here. haha I was looking at pelican hard cases for my type of work but they are so expensive. I just need one for my body and two lenses and its like $450
