straight up or down, dont angle it yet,

 

^ Easiest imo. Is straight down. You can also go left or right. But I think it's a bit tougher to do it horizontally.

 

so dont do the sides? just the bottoms of the letters

edit: I also thot afta post that the Y would be much better if the curve of the right bar came up real close 2 the left bar.
