so the deal with stun was he was leaving a bar, and a bunch of rednecks jumped him. One had a 2 by 4 and hit him in the head with it. He had brain damage, and now has the mental capacity of about a 15 year old kid. Its a fuckin shame, he was the shit.
stun still paints just not in st.louis, he doesnt live here anymore. ya fucked up shit someone attacked him but lets keep personal business off the internet. sad st.louis graffiti has never been the same since though. shame sybergs on gravious just buffed the work he had done for them years back, and between AO, T2, and random other toys with no knowledge or respect most of our graffiti gems are disappearing i.e. stun, hoax, vatoe, some obces, even phers, wae, hefner, kms, am7 shit. the golden days are long gone.
well..with that said, why not bring back those golden days? oh yeah 2nd time ive asked this WHO THE FUCK IS EVEN IN AO? beas and other non-important toys?
yeah. shit pisses me off and my bad, just someone was asking back in the thread, thought i should let em know. yeah, i mean, you see all this shit from back in the Paint Louis days, and its fuckin real. Shit that takes a lot of time, heart, and effort. Now a days its just about gettin up. No one really cares about the art aspect of graffiti here anymore, its just all about the name. We've lost a lot of the values too. Ex: When was the last time anyone saw a top to bottom in STL? Im not sayin we should be all burners, and not get up, just that theres barely any great "art" like there used to be. Lots of shitty throws, and the writers that paint em dont progess much. Obces is still rollin though, and hes still got a lot of good shit. And as for vatoe, ive heard a lotta shit. Apparently the vatoe thats been recently gettin up isnt the original. Just some kid usin his name. Seems like it could be true too, cause if you look at his old shit ( ive got a post in here with a few of his peices) the style's completely different. Who knows though.. And that's a fuckin shame, i loved that wall. long ass post....

as far as st.louis goes, obces and guer are the only two that even count. hoax, and older writers like stun, and wae. etc. started st.louis graff. everything else is wack.
i would say that those two probably have the most work in st louis but there's still people like frost and dive who have a good presence itd be nice to see more pieces too, seems like pherz and years are the only guys who really do that
