Those caps are RUSTO FATS that come on elmers...lol...seriously, thats the real name...you can buy em in packs from your local friendly graff supply store...or goto your local art store and pull em off the elmers spray glue... the best caps ever are blaster caps, astro and bananas...the blasters are fairly new...You might have heard of them...if you didn't i feel bad for you...
I been usin rusto fats and ny thins for the rusto, i know the german outlines will work for the rusto, so will banana skinnys and the universal caps, i jsut want something for flares
whaaaaack....been a long time since i was a youngin pullin caps i just buy em now. BTW: Fuck krylon and fuck elmers for switching shit.... krylon was good cheap paint....and rather abundant...fuckin cunts.
they are actually no way thins...i've used em for fills and shit, they aren't THAT fat tho... i like them they are really sensitive to touch..if you know what i mean...
alright, so for fat caps i got it down with the rusto, rusto fats will do me fine. I like the new york thins for rusto, but want something maybe a bit thinner for some work. Suggestions? I suppose if I want big ol flares ill get some montana and an astro fat and jsut go that route.
new elmers (boston..fats?) are fucking sick for flares better in a few ways than rusto fats imo. ..got a comfy hood, dont whistle, supa flares, jus harder ta fill with doesnt cover as fast it seems like. oh an blunt dude, ny thins r pretty fuckin thin, as thin as u can get w/ rusto as far as i know. never tried bananas...an dont fuckin say stencil capzzz lol
yeah rusto's other lines like american accents and painter's touch (old valves, obviously) work with caps that don't work on the rusto line, thats part of why they're better. new elmer's caps are boston (rusto?) thins, trout art supply .com sells them in larger quantities if you get tired of getting them off cans another reason why the rusto line isn't as good as aa or pt is the way they stutter when you use a thin on them, they don't actually start when you press down on the cap. Boston thins are great because they don't stutter as much as other thin caps do on rusto. I think it's because they're faster so they let out the stutter pressure more quickly. In my experience grey dots don't work on rusto, but do usually work on aa and pt
uhh the new elmers caps are just new elmers caps, theres no special name for them.. on a side note they make much thicker solid lines than the old rustos and make great flares
