How does it stay there? if it does. If it doesn't its pretty fukin useless. Looks fun though. Not for graff purposes but just looks like sumin fun to fuk around on.
I never saw that shit in Rotterdam, I've been there a lot of times. They have great food there, and it's nice to look at the river whilst eating youre favorite steak and then go out to do graffiti. aaaah good times.
^^^^^^^^^ i like, ttly agre. No, you're a toy. SKETCH! It's cool with LED's, pity about the crap lettering.
for the people who think this stuff is gay or wack .. are you telling me if you were given the chance to rep your name or crew like this youd say no way. also thowies last up to 1-2 weeks if you get it up high enough and no one pulls them down thats longer than paint getting power washed off the next day
koger please tell me how the hell this does anything for getting a name up. It's a god damn light bulb.
First off you guys are talking about 2 different things, LED "throwies" and the research lab projector thing. The LEDs are cool cuz you can throw them onto a wall and they can stick or have a magnet to hold them, and they glow at night (duh) And the projector thing is cool cuz you get your tag across the entire side of a skyscraper and the whole citý sees it. However neither of these things are GRAFFITI. In order to be graffiti you must be physically marking the surface in a permanent fashion. You can't vandalize something with light.
I don't mean its pointless. Its just not graffiti. Perhaps it fits better in the street art category. LED throwies are technically installations.
Vagrant pretty much summed it up for me. The throwies are kinda cool but It just seems like so much effort to actually make your name out of them when they're so temporary. And the research lab technology, although temporary, is pretty damn dope. In the few seconds or minutes that it stays up, thousands upon thousands of people see it. That few seconds gets a lot more recognition than most tags do that run for decades. Just because of the visibility.
^^^^^^^^^^^ What are? It's easier for you to create a line of circuits and LED's than just do a hollow throw?
