that one with teh spiral stair case& water around teh building outside is wierd but badass @ the same time

u got any storys on why they got abandoned?

 

bankruptcy, fire, WW2, waiting to be demolished...etc etc. normally boring things

 

i think the freaky part is when you still see jackets and crap still hanging on the hooks. Its like they all of a sudden just picked up and left.

"La Chartreuse has always given me the creeps.

On every visit I met strange people : a naked photographer who was being photographed by his model (yes, in that order), a suspect looking guy taking an enormous risk running over a high wall to escape from me.

In the 1990's a young boy died under suspicious circumstances.

There are many cellars and underground ammunition storage rooms, it is even said that there is a tunnel all the way to the citadel, but when I ventured in the dark cellars a dog suddenly jumped from behind one of the many sideways and started barking and growling at me. There wasn't enough light for me to see it (not that I was interested in any way), all I know is that it took me no more that a couple of seconds to climb out of the cellar and run for my life (with success). "
