no. 2 pencils arent very flattering to throwups or whatever u wanna call that... get a sharpie at least, do it fast, make the letters fatter so there isnt a gap in between every one... try to do the outline of each letter without taking ur marker off the paper, and then u can add the details of each letter after (like the middle of the A or the kick in the left part of the S)... try all that and practice...

no matter what you use just try it fast. and if you want just sketch out some throw ideas and if you like them try to draw them progressivly faster until you get it down pack. but also look at big writers throws for INSPIRATION do not bite there letter. but just see the creative things there doing to get ideas for your own.

a throw is a throw, not much letter structure involved, lose the dead space and practice other styles. you'll get it

 

It'd probably look better with the light fill and dark outline. 3D might look better in opposite direction. Try it on a wall with that 49er cap. You can draw a throwie. Go paint some shit.

The 3D shit is up to you, guess it depends on what characteristic of the top of the letters you wanna' focus on. 3D is easier in that direction cause the square tops. Drop shadow might look nice in the opposite direction so you can get the curvyness in there too.

 

werd. and it's a gold cap ( black dotted) and i have painted it before. low on paint. get flix whenever. ill try the 3-d in the opposite direction never tried it that what before thx.

Ha those aren't black dots. He means it's a gold cap with a black dot. Also known as a lvl.5

I see. So it's pretty much the same as a 49er. 49er sprays a little bigger than a pink dot. Dump a can real quick. Maybe AP made them for Molotow and domestic cans or somethin'. I dunno' but I love them.

 

The 49'er is supposed to be the fattest around I think. Pink dots are nice too.
