take a bagel or roll, slice in into halves, open it up brush on extra virgin olive oil, dust liberally with garlic powder, add a little black pepper and parmesean cheese, ad a pinch of pizza pepper cover with ripped up string cheese or cheddar or both stick in the toaster oven, toast until bagel is crunchy and cheese is melted. poor man's garlic bread with cheese, word.
yeah man. garlic powder is the way to go for poor man's garlic bread. you can buy that at the dollar store. i made congee a few days ago. it's pretty good. i make it all vegetarian and shit though. i don't really have a recipe. but i will try to come up with something basic that you guys can just add to. hmmm ingredients: -rice (preferably some sort of brown rice) white rice just cooks faster though. -chicken or vegetable stock (i use a vegetarian chicken stock by mccormick's) -one onion -soy sauce -hot sauce( the kind with the rooster on it) sariachi or something like that that's the basic list of ingredients but you can add anything you want to it. like frozen peas or corn, tofu, whatever meat you eat, any other veggies. so here you go. 1 if you have a rice cooker use it. if not just use a pot. ratio is usually 2:1 for water to rice. so one cup of rice with two cups of water. i use a rice cooker it's much easier and they're pretty cheap to buy. 2 wait til the rice is ready and in a separate pot boil 2 cups of water with one stock cube. or if you want more, just change the proportions. 3 after it comes to the boil add the rice again, because you want it to cook just a little bit longer. 4 add the onion (chopped or diced) 5 add whatever else you want (i usually thrown in my tofu and other veggies here. 6 Turn down the heat and let it simmmer for a little bit (it will become thicker) 7 add hot sauce and then soy sauce if you want to, 8 if you're using meat, i suggest you cook that separately and add it somewhere in the mix. that was probably the most poorly written recipe ever. but i basically made it up after eating congee at a restaurant.
For all you vegetarians/vegans, check out wikihow - they have mad international vegan and veggie recipes I got a good homemade hummus recipe from there, as well as a new falafel recipe. good shit. also mad asian cuisine.
Macaroni and Cheese with parmesian cheese sprinkled over. It gives it a nice texture, some extra flavor, and more cheese The key is to not add to much or it overpowers the flavor of the macaroniiiiii
My sister actually has made this for me before. It looks and taste very good. Here's the only thing I can make: The Proper Sandwich Toasted Bread [Sourdough, my fave]. Cajun Turkey Breast.
