i read back a few pages and ny fats are definitely my favorite cap on rustoleum. you don't even have to heat the stem up or anything, just take the bottom part that has a split in it and stretch it out with your finger nails so that it can sit around the valve in the can. shit works awesome.
i mark all my caps after robbing them with an orange sharpie so i know which ones are rusto fats and which ones are boston thins...i'm a fucking genius!
er this might be a dumb question but i just started writing so gotta ask, i just got some good proper caps pink dots, orange, NY fats etc but they dont fit on the type of cans i have (just cheap shit) i think theyre male cans they have the white tube bit that their original caps clicks onto, what caps do i use!!!
female caps. there arnt many sold though so your probably better off finding them on other products. thats what i do for painters touch.
If those are off of Elmer's Glue they are fat caps... NOT Boston Thins. The Boston Thin sprays thin, why else would it be called a thin cap? They look identical, but spray completely differently.
you might be right. i've never used the new elmers fat caps. someone should get ahold of them both and figure out a way to tell them apart, i'll try and get on that
