actually no I just started working on simps the other day. Been so zoned in on throws for so long , hopefully I can progress fairly quick.
I spent most of this morning practicing my throws, I'll post flicks later, hopefully I did some progression. :/
throwie from today, the drop shadow on the r is fucked, i was baked, i know it shouldnt be an excuse but whatever throw by Stewart Stevenson, on Flickr
trying to work on my throwie i like the A and F but no the rest of it.. R's suck dick hit me with your crits
Try to make your letters the same siZe. Try to make your letters all similar in shape. Remeber to go basic. Also practice hundreds and hundreds of them on paper before u waste paint or u will regret it later trust me
I agree with everything besides using paint ... I say use it because even if your letters are wack you can gain can control and experience painting as you learn. Think about it just because you can lace a sick throw on paper doesnt mean shit unless it can transfer to a wall nicely.
I agree... but I would say it depends on the skill level. If you're at a point on paper where you feel comfortable with the throwie and your lettering... by all means, hit up the wall with some paint to start learning can control. But you gotta walk before you can run...
should i change my Y to a normal Y? MAGOO - i like that style a lot. its simple and legible just figure out where to place your letters better but the first and last letter are fuckin dynamite if you progress keep on going with it its original your shits unique
to be perfectly honest, I think you should just change the whole thing not being an asshole. just my opinion.
