it would be a good question to ask a nib supplier if you were going into the marker business, but i haven't even tested my idea yet.

 

Hey Vagrant. For a felt/Similar Material Nub. Particle Size: 40-45 Micron is the maximum, If you want a nice nice complete flow and every bit of complete colour. If you mix in larger pigments It'll have less Polydispersion.
For A Spondge Nib. It can go anything up to 120 Micron.

And HeRbn That stuff is wack. Its wax based and is similar to a coating polish in many ways... It may leave a slight stain. I mean the slightest, If you thin it with a harder thinner. BUT, It will still have a coat which would come right off.

BUT. If your into etching. Rub a small amount on a cloth and rub it over your etched tag. It'll make it stand out more.
