Go simple on the letters, don't worry about some of the add-ons like at the top of the 'M'.
Cut back at the ends of your lines to get them crisp and sharp and points instead of the circular spray patter.
Just go with solid black or one color for your 3D for now, don't get too fancy with the sheen/highlight stuff.
