I was watching some videos on YouTube of people painting, and their pieces obviously have bar structure, but they dont paint it in bars, if you know what I mean. Is it okay to paint it in bars as if your drawing it in bars? Thanks.
What? Dude, I don't understand these kids acting like there are rules to graffiti. IT'S GRAFFITI, DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT. People tell you to use bars because it makes it easier to determine the structure of the piece. It's just a TIP, not a RULE, *****. If you don't want to use bars then don't use bars, dudes are just trying to help you out.

whats your damage little boy? Anyone paints however they want, if it's a simple piece, chances are someone who's "good" at graffiti, won't use bars and will draw the outline of the letter straight up. but if it's a more complex piece, the person WILL use bars FOR FUCKS SAKE
Name changesss. So, I want to change my name. I feel like the letters I have chosen are really hard for me to work with...and I don't particularly like the way I write ANY of them. I love the word, but I am ready to let it go for something I can develop better. However, I've gotten up pretty hard in my hometown. I have some level of respect around here (even if I remain anonymous, I've heard the chatter.) I don't want to change my name, and lose all I've worked at for so long. How can I incorporate my new name into my old work, and maybe make a smooth transaction. Should I put some "AKA"s in my shit for a while? Also - what to do with the old slaps? Is it acceptable to write more than one thing? Is that OK?
...I give up on this thread. I can understand this thread being filled with dumb shit like "how much thinner should I put in my paint to make it flow through yadda yadda marker" shit that ACTUALLY HAS A DEFINITE ANSWER.
