The thing I hate about dubstep is how much they sample pop songs. I'm not a dubstep major but Britney Spears, Imogen Heap and Ke$ha have no business in such a "dark" genre. And it makes for awful music. I've heard some ridiculous mixes of Imogen Heap's Let Go. They do her absolutely zero justice.

That's kind of my problem with it, i can't go anywhere without some wastekid on meph telling me how Sweet Shop is so filthy it made him want to murder a kitten and fuck the corpse in a bath of maggots or some shit. Don't get me wrong, i like dirty jump up dubstep, like Reso or 16Bit or Bar 9, but Doctor P is the bottom of the pile, and the hype he's getting makes no sense to me. Fair play for making money off some shitty generic tunes, and getting signed for it too, seriously he must be doing womething right, but goddamn, it's just so terrible and it just won't seem to fuck off.
as far as headphones go, do not buy beats by dre. they are shitty headphones and far over priced. i have sony mdr7506. they arent the best looking but they are the best sound quality in my opinion for the price. also your listening to mp3s, terrible sound quality to begin with on your ipod
