@Elbur: looks cool. @Drae: I see the D, A and E, but not the R @Zonk, the first one is definately alot better than the 2nd one. Need to work on my T's.
Your L is bad, especially the extension coming fromthe top. your T looks like it would be a better L than the L you have
@Boar1 & @FlatScank: Thankz I Appreciate It..@ 1st I Wasnt Gonna Add Tha Dripz But I Said Ta Myself Fuck It Lol..I Was Bein Lazy..
the first zonk isn't by you, sorry. judging by how you thought that the post above you looks good, I'd say that's a blackbook hit by some good writer you know/met. the second flick is yours though...
I think if Zonk executed the 2nd piece better it would look pretty dope took Ribs advice and added a background And a sketch, cell phone pic, sorry for shitty quality. any tips on the damn S? its either that or the D thats making it not work.
sed- the D is the problem, its gotta be rounded to keep the flow, like a keyboard D would look good, or a styled S to match the D you have
Try and keep it as simple as possible untill you understand how letters work. and thanks for the cirts RAsk
ATAK - write your name like this "ATAK", you are trying way too hard BUGS - I like that, not a big fan of the green drips though [Broken External Image]:http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/4346/scan0001pk.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Task- Squish that S and T together and that will be dope. there is just too much negative space in there
yo if you want to take it even further, take a dark color like blue or black and fill in all the white it would pop off the page more... pretty big paper tho so id only use a sharpie or a pen thats not expensive but lays on a non streaky color Your S aint that bad, but the D just looks weird... and thats really all there is to it, bar width s fine and connections are fine
The only dark blue i have is too dark and makes it too hard to see the black lines, maybe dark green or something. I was originally debating coloring it in but I feel like I dont have the right color to fill it. Probably gunna say fuck it and color it anyway. The page isn't big at all, its one of those mini books haha, shits decieving. They are nice to use but any big words in it suck cause there isn't much space.
i guess the square pages threw me off. I got a square sketch book thats almost twice the size of the regualr 11x8 standard blackbook sized paper, really nice paper but kinda eats up some markers almost like canvas so i dont use it very often. yea a darkish green might work or maybe even a color that compliments the pink like a lime green, next time dont outline your background with black unless your going to fill in the rest with black... might just be a preference thing, not exactly a rule, you could even thicken the black outline around the pink so its a real bold outline, and then add any color other than pink or something that makes the black hard to see.
Jest- shits dope, but just squish the S n T a lil more this shit just came sloppy but fuck it gimme the lows
little character reminds me of boogey in nightmare before christmas a little bit... and yeah thats kinda slops, dont really like the grittyness. the R to the A is good. I dont like the squiggles on the letters tho like the S and K, and i thought you K was an R for a sec... i think if you solid that up it would look aight took a closer pic so yall could see it a tiny bigger View attachment 605127
Rask - Yea I agree with ribcage. If you smoothed the edges a little and made them more defined it would look much better I think Ribcage - That piece looks sweet, the colors came out great. I think someone already said it but the middle of your E looks kinda off. Mine again. The Z looks ugly but idk how to fix it while still making it flow Top of the L should be a bit bigger and in toward the I a little. Other than that, crits?
Nail thats looking good man, maybe some 3d on the back of the L Rask i think a slimey sort of fill would suit better than flames just preference but its a good idea just toying around still have so many fill ideas
