prea the first T isnt that bad, just doesnt match the second one so its out of place... the A looks weird with the extension on the bottom, and the last T has some 3d covering the S, fix that and itll be a clean simp

HAHA! no I meant it bled out into the weave of the paper not actually through, I use a piece of foam board underneath. Do you just use a standard sketch paper?

id say get away from those excessively connected letters. go simpler, uniform , dont squash your letters that much give em room. i extremely hate those thin parts.

You should definitely do that (go simpler).
That APES just looks like a few bars with mad swiggley bars.
They don't even look like letters. The only letter that's even remotely readable is the S.

Look dude, your color, your shine effects are spot on, but them' letters yo'....

I told you the same shit like 2months ago, and it's only gotten worse since then.

 

I like it, s maybe a little out of proportion, but that's got some funk!

i think you gotta look at this style like you would with a kid with autism
i know because im kind of the same way
the thing that seems to lack the most in my opinion are some of your bars
the e seems to get a little too squished and skinny
and same with the s
you dont have to crunch your letters to get rid of negative space
thats what extensions are for
if you gave it some better structure but kept your style i think you'll end up light years past other people
you've found you own style
now you just have to be comfortable with it you know
