Why? Thats what I need to know. Is there anything 'wrong' with the other stuff Ive done? And if so what? I mean Ill keep doing simples but Id like to know where Im going wrong with other stuff as well.
your on the right path but the arrows detract baddd from the letters...find a chisel tip marker even a sharpie magnum will do and focus on the shapes the tip make. if a pilot marker can't make a certain-shaped arrow extension etc then it won't look good on a piece generally
the c on the left corner in the first pick looks good minus the crazy extension,everything else is bad,it just dont look good they look like throwys trying to look like a peice..the colors are alright but if u use pencil u will produce more letters instead of just one nice peice,just do simple stuff man u wont regret it
@Merta I see what you mean. Handstyle does influence the finished letter forms. @Flipp Ill give it a go and try to post here often so please check back.

nose2, e4f4t...only thing the middle one if the colors were reversed it wudda popped out like zit gizz.but good concept sketches however.

the point is the passion ,what are you passionate about?I have no desire for handstyles, I like doing pieces,and I like colors,I love to be on roads that cross rr tracks because there are the pieces...I'll always be a toy to some because I dont do handsteez,liike everyone else.I like to do mine in cursive where my style of writing shines through.my handwriting looks nothing like graffiti but it is on a lot of very important doccuments,seen by alot of very important individuals.the point is what do you want to make out of your life...is it glamorous to set in the back of a squad car for two hours in the middle of august wwhile the department of homeland security searches your stuff?no but what is glamourous is this...knowing that you can do something you are proud of doing because its what you are doing that makes you proud...are you proud of what you are doing?so what if I say mean things on a computer screen,theres no violence in reading.but get up on someone elses spot,there not gonna bake you a cake and say awww what a cute little toy.no you will get your ass beat.
