has anyone heard of using clear spray paint to make your skickers more durable. so either spary one the sticker before or after you put it up. i also just got some clear krylon (with out the 360 cap and im using a nyfat) and i am wondering if i should spray my old slaps or is it not worth it. edit: i just tried spraying some finished slaps and it made all the ink run and smear so it ruined it. i dont know how it will work with already stuck ones but i dont think it will be any difrent.
That's pretty common, actually. Most dudes feel like it's just a sticker though and putting that much work into it simply isn't worth it. It's totally up to you though. If I spent an hour or two on a sticker like some dudes actually do... I'd definitely wanna protect it as best as I could. But for me, personally, that's simply not my style. I'm spending 3-5 MINUTES... maybe 7-8 depending upon character, quote, etc, etc.... but definitely no more than that. I want my stickers clean and simple. I'm definitely not spraying them with lacquer or clearcoat. It's just not worth it to me.
Sticker I made. Printed off a little shitty, the red and black mixed so it's kind of a mess but they're still good enough to put up.
looking for some trades I owe psys first so pm me man here are some samples trying to create me a character I know it sucks but ideas of improvement would help...
@sape , you can use all kinds of shit man, cereal boxes, poster board, self adhesive contact paper, acetate, or waxed stencil paper. Stenciling is all about bridges in the right place and perspective it deos not matter what you cut it from.
Just received your pack Psy, thanks a lot man. I've put around 10 blank stickers in yours as well and it'l be there soon.
