Oops, caught a sweet deal on a D700 off a friend who had one gifted to her... Two thousand dollars cheaper than store cost. YEAH BOYEE. Full frame here I come.... Now.... gotta sell all my DX lenses and my D300.... lame.
For $1000NZ, which is around 750$US with a 15-35mm Sigma ultra wide angle lens. Can't believe it either.
I'm on the hunt for a good Macro lens. I would like a Tamron 60mm f/2- something, lens. Also, I need a remote shutter.
fuck if its cheaper to get it there, i think id rather dish out the shipping cost and still be cheaper than here in canada
pulled out my other electro 35 today, and the shutter doesn't fire anymore This is the 2nd electro to go in 2 weeks with film loaded I might be able to fix this one, though. fffffuuuuuuuuuuuu
Yashicas, not the most reliable cameras!!! Just man up and buy an M3!!! Shifty I am already selling my D300 to a friend I'm sorry. I could sell you my 11-16mm though. [Broken External Image]:http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/5396/dsc5267.jpg 15mm in full frame is fucking wiiiiiiiide. DX can't get anything this wide, it's crazy.
it would be nice to have a real wide lense for band shots, how much are you asking for it? thats a tokina, right? did anyone enter the battle?
this has nothing to do with photography but i think someone in here liked dubstep. i tihnk it was here. but i just checked it out and its sick
what the 11-16mm fisheye mate? Im tempted for the right price, will need shipping to the uk though :S Will it not fit your new cam? Even though its full frame it should still work, it will just be uber fuckin wide
The 11-16 tokina is DX, still fits my D700 but uses cropped mode, shooting it on full frame comes out like this: [Broken External Image]:http://jonvandalen.com/newblog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/ned77_4691-1.jpg Therefore no point when I've already got a 15-30mm which is far wider on an FX camera, only issue is it's not constant f/2.8 like the tokina is. The photo above of myself in the mirror is taken with the 15-30mm, not the tokina.
Not with fisheye, Although the D700 automatically crops to DX mode for you, so I don't even need to sell my fisheye. What a camera.
