you cant really learn how to do graffiti u just have to learn how to do it ur self maybe a school on the history of graffiti
man...I think it'd be a kinda good idea. like, we draw in school all the time 'n shit, I know I do 'n it'd be fun to talk about graff in school. Would it really be a bad thing to be able to go to a school where thats all you do? Like yeah its always awesome to be able to bomb and you gotta hit everything you can touch sometimes but painting is kinda more important to me in general, so if I can go to a school 'n paint all day, awesome. Its like free practice without the risk. Then you can take your shit to the streets. It'd also help you get off maybe if you just say you do it illegally and avoid gettin' in any real trouble. Like for me, I would think of it just as an excuse to paint, ya' know?
its just away of making money outof a lifestyle realy your gonner get all these toys hu go to it and think there all that if they wanna do graffiti do it on the street wear it belongs
if you practise your tag in a class then do it on the street that school will be the first place the old bill go or you could just practise at home fo free
I would never write my tag in class! It'd be easier to go somewhere to practice if they gave you paint 'n like a nice wall or canvas. I don't know, I think a 'graff school' would be cool but I guess a workshop woudln't really be worth to bother with. Still might be tight to checkout though, depending on the cost 'n shit.
i say give it a try i say it should at least try the idea out and see how it goes. my only thing is that when new apps apply to attend they should present a portfolio of there work. and the teachers should teach basic techniques and styles but make sure by the time the student graduates they have there own stlye, inking, painting in of lettering, characters and paintups. but thats just my opinion
