My friend runs the Trout Art Supply website. He's working on some new marker/mop hybrids that he let me test out. They are 2oz/4oz squeeze bottles with screw on felt tip nibs. There's no valve and its free flowing depending on how hard you squeeze the bottle. They're gonna have a few different sized nibs too, 10mm, 15mm round and/or rectangle nibs, maybe larger sizes as well, (all specially made). Much like a spray can, you can switch out the tips by swapping out the screw on tops for different sized nibs. Pretty sick...here's a flick of a 2oz "Marp" (marker/mop combo) with a 10mm nib and a test tag that was done with it on a plastic storage container lid: [Broken External Image]:http://www.elimin8.net/cpr/a28KY_marp.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://www.elimin8.net/cpr/k25y6_masher.jpg Also, I don't write Masher. Just a side name I'd been messing with.
^those seem pretty nice does it have a screw on cap? cuz thats something i need when i buy a mop, espeically one thats free flowing, i dont want any leaks
Yeah, its a screw on with the plastic/nib protruding from the screw on section. It's basically like a bottle with a screw on lid, with a Zig/OTR nib sticking out the top.
haha no. its proly just paint. im just saying dont try to make paint flow through a marker 6/10 times you will fail and get a streaky shit.
no no i mean its just paint, liek nothign special, but it will flow through markers, thats what its meant for.
so i didnt read 800 pages tosee if you already talked about this but whats up with those jumbo oil pastels ive heard about, are they any good? cuz ive tried just plain old oil pastels ive had laying around my house and they sucked ass, theywere too hard
im using sakura oil pastels for streaks right now and they work alrite if u write on the rite surfaces...cant split them tho...there too hard and crumble...but they alrite...
lol at the marp guy and how he explains a mop and changing the nibs, i find that funnyy pastels are good if u leave them in ur pocket on a hot day
